It’s time for a new semester! Can’t wait to see you all in class soon.
Here is the plan for my extra classes this semester:
Games Hour is a fun hour of English language games, for all levels of speakers. (Jogos em inglês para alunos de todos os níveis.)
Discussion Hour is a conversation class for intermediate/advanced speakers. (Conversação para alunos de nível intermédio/avançado.)
Chorus will be an hour of learning songs in English. (Como o semestre passado: vamos aprender músicas em inglês!)
Professor Conversation is a conversation class for UPE professors with advanced speaking skills. (Conversação para professores na UPE de nível avançado.)
Arts in the Americas Workshops are 2-hour workshops that will involve theater, dance, art, sports, or other fun activities. (Oficinas de 2 horas, incluindo teatro, dança, arte, esportes, ou outras atividades.)
Movie Nights will be used to show the films that Chelsea teaches in her Literature & Cinema class, but they are open to all students. They will be at Chelsea and Cara’s house in the Petrolina Centro. Films will be shown in English with English subtitles. (Movie Nights vão exibir filmes da aula de Chelsea “Literatura e Cinema,” mas estão abertos para todos. Vão ocorrer na casa de Chelsea e Cara, no Centro de Petrolina. Os filmes serão exibidos em inglês com legendas em inglês.)
**Toda aula ocorrá na UPE, além dos Movie Nights, que occorão na casa de Chelsea no Centro. Mande um email para ela (seawaite@gmail.com) para pedir o endereço.
